About Stanley M. Diamond, Project Director

Born 1933 in Montreal, Canada. 

Education: McGill University, Montreal (B. Commerce '54), Harvard (MBA '58). 

Founder and Chairman, Intalite International Group of Companies, 1960 - 1986. Winner of 1984 Canada Export Award.

Lecturer, author and subject of many articles, among them,

Entrepreneurial activity and international marketing:
  • (one subject in) "The New Entrepreneurs - 80 Canadian Success Stories", Alan Gould, Author; Seal Books, Canada. 
Genealogical research and genetics:

Active family historian since 1991; founder and president, Jewish Genealogical Society of Montreal. 

Genealogist member of genetic research project team with McGill University - Montreal Children's Hospital and Hebrew University-Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem; Project Coordinator, Jewish Records Indexing - Poland, an award-winning international project to create an Internet-searchable index of surviving Jewish vital records of Poland. 

Awarded the IAJGS (International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002.
